What A Dentist From Australia Can Teach You About Marketing Your Yoga Business At Zero Cost.

At first, he did things like every dentist was supposed to do.  He opened up a bright shiny office, put an ad in the yellow pages, and began placing small ads in local newspapers.  Soon a trickle of clients began to flow into his office.  Yet Paddi Lund wasn't happy.

For one thing, drawing a constant flow of clients into his office was exhausting.  And if the truth be told, a lot of the clients he was working with weren't very pleasant to deal with.  At the end of the day, Paddi was filled with stress, anger and resentment.  He knew he had to act.

Paddi did the unthinkable.  He took his ad out of the yellow pages.  He has his office number unlisted.  He "fired" all his less desirable clients and sent them off to his competitors.  And placed the following note on the door of his office...

"Our practice is by referral only.  If you have been referred by a current client, please ring the bell and we will be happy to serve you.  If you have not been referred by a current client, we can not serve your dental needs.  If this is a dental emergency and you are not a referral client, we can not see you but will be happy to give you the names of some local dentists who will treat you."

People thought he was committing professional suicide.  Who ever heard of a dentist with an unlisted phone number?
