Hello everyone,
I'm new on this forum, and really appreciate what you've all created here. I wondered if I could get some feedback on my Craig's List ad. The title: "Relieve stress, pain, excess weight with yoga." The post reads: "At this busy time of the year, many of us notice increased stress and anxiety, and difficulty maintaining a healthy weight. Personalized yoga instruction is a powerful way to address these challenges. Instruction available in your home or office, for individuals or groups. Instructor has over seven years of experience working with a broad range of students, including those with special circumstances such as pregnancy, injury and chronic pain. Beginners always welcome! Call Erin at 505-508-5497 with questions or to book an appointment." Is this too long? Will it grab attention? Also, how frequently do you recommend posting an ad? Thanks, everyone, and have a wonderful holiday. |

Hi Erin.
Welcome, welcome, welcome. And thanks for plunging in. The more you tell... The more you sell... So elaborate on what you are telling them. First, in December, peoples' minds aren't on yoga. It's on Xmas parties and all the deadly vices. But... they'll be back with vengeance in January. I remember when Sara taught a class on Monday nights. I watched the class size dwindle down to nothing in December and then slowly creep back up. It always happens this way. So try this ad: How To Eliminate Holiday Stress The Xmas season has just begun and already people are stressed. The economy is in the toilet. The banks are failing. But the bank executives are having huge pay days. Every one is watching their credit card bills go up and their stress is going through the roof. There's a simple easy solution that will eliminate your stress - guaranteed. It's called yoga. It can be anything from slow gentle movement to vigorous sweat pouring down off your forehead practice. You know some of the people who do yoga every day: Sting, Madonna, and Donna Karran. But many more people do it not to look like a million bucks but because they want to feel better. In one yoga session, you can eliminate stress from your life and in coming sessions, I'll show you how to keep it away forever. So if you're feeling stressed, pick up the phone and give me a call.
