I have a room in the front of my house that is basically a waste of space. It's designed to be an office or sitting room (I use the spare bedroom upstairs as my office), so I installed double French doors and decorated the room with bamboo, a fish tank, a 3-panel screen with a floor light behind it, some soothing wall art, a cabinet to hold my yoga props, and not much else. I use this room to do Thai Yoga Massage, and will use it for privates when they start coming. As far as a business license goes, you have to check with the laws in your city/state.

Your room sounds beautiful. I'll bet when your clients come in, they won't want to leave! Good luck!Oh, I have checked with the city - and yes, there is a special business license for home businesses. Pretty simple! |

Suzanne, you're room sounds very relaxing. I'm actually in the process of transforming a few rooms in my home into my a private student area. Your ideas are a big help.
