This health fair sounds great. My father actually met his current wife at a

Health Expo in New York a few years ago. I have never been to one but I

that they are a great place to network. I love your enthusiasim in everything

that you do. You go Girl!!! Like sue said, Get creative and just have fun.

Make sure to have you business cards and possibly a simple yoga flyer of

who you are, your services, the type of yoga you teach and a call to action

with your contact information.

I think the yoga DVD palying is a good idea, especially for peple who have

never tried yoga. A definite yes on the yoga demonstration. This is a

fantastic way to draw people in and give a 5-10 minute yoga taste.

Yes to the raffle. Have people put in their business cards, this way you have

their contact information and give away one free private session and one

free class where you teach.

One more idea.....in order to get people's phone or e-mail, you could give

yoga books. I don't know when this is happening but Harlan knows of a great

web-site you can get books of all kinds at a huge discount. About $2 a book.

Just e-mail him and ask him. I have forgotten what it is. This way people get

something free, which we all love and you build a mailing list to market to.

You are also eduacation people about yoga by giving away the books..
